John Charlton Postcard

Originally installed in St Paul's Church in Euroa in 1903, the Private John Charlton Memorial Window acted as a tribute to the service of Private John Charlton during the Boer War. The window was put into storage in the 1920s, and remained beneath the church until its discovery some sixty years later. Following restoration, the window has found a permanent home on display in the Shrine's Galleries of Remembrance.

This postcard shows the Private John Charlton Memorial Window following the restoration, against a black background to emphasise the detail and workmanship in the window.
