Australian War Diaries of a Japanese POW (F Lasslett)

Description: During the Second World War, while he was held captive as a Japanese prisoner of war, Fred Lasslett wrote weekly letters home, kept hidden from his captors. His writings very clearly describe what life was like as a prisoner of war, including the daily highs and lows in camp, the suffering experienced, and the humour and mateship that helped him survive. His writings are supplemented by photographs, drawings, Australian Navy records and Japanese instructions to the prisoners of war.

Soft cover, 210 pages.
