Gallipoli Eyewitness: LT G M Gibson's diaries & photographs

Through the extraordinary events of the Anzac invasion of Turkey's Gallipoli Peninsula, Lieutenant Gerald Gibson was an eyewitness to a military event that has been commemorated in Australia for nearly 100 years.

Stoically, he chronicled the first three months of the Anzac campaign from his position in the Light Horse supply division which enabled him to move freely around Anzac Cove. His diary challenges several long-held beliefs but, more importantly, paints a dramatic picture of life at an event that has emerged as one of the defining moments in Australia's history.

Soft cover, 158 pages.
